Yes Futures is Taking Part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2025!

This December, Yes Futures is taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2025, the UK’s biggest national fundraising campaign. For one week only- from midday 2 December to midday 9 December- we’re calling on our community to help us raise £5,000 so that more young people can grow in confidence, resilience, communication, and self-belief.

Why your support matters

Many of the young people we support face barriers that can affect their confidence, wellbeing, and chances of success at school. They often experience anxiety, low self-belief, and uncertainty about the future. Without guidance and support, these challenges can make it difficult for them to see their potential and the opportunities available to them.

Yes Futures helps young people to:

• Take part in 1:1 and small-group coaching with trained volunteer coaches

• Experience 'Into the Wild' immersive outdoor adventure days

• Explore future careers through 'World of Work' experiences

These opportunities help young people build essential life skills, gain self-belief, and start seeing what’s possible for their future!

How your donation helps

Every gift made during the Big Give #ChristmasChallenge week brings us closer to our £5,000 target and directly funds these life-changing programmes:

• £30 – 🧑‍🏫 supports training and onboarding for a volunteer coach

• £105 – 💼 funds a young person’s World of Work experience day

• £300 – 🌲 funds a young person’s Into the Wild adventure day

• £800 – 🚀 supports a young person for a full Yes Futures programme

Simple ways to get involved

We also have a huge favour to ask. Firstly, share our campaign with your colleagues, students, partners, family and friends.

Secondly, help us to fundraise. Whether you’re at school, work, or at home, there are easy ways to support us. Take a look at our A-Z of Fundraising and we have also listed some ideas you could get started on straightaway!

Schools

• Festive bake sale: Quick and simple to organise in a classroom or staff room

• Festive Jumper day: Invite students or staff to donate for a festive dress-up

Employers

• Make a donation: Companies can donate directly or match employee giving

• Team challenge: Encourage colleagues to take part in a small challenge and donate

• Organise a raffle/quiz night

  
  

Families & Friends

• Bake sale or cake stall: Fundraise with home-baked treats

• Pooled donations: Collect spare change or ask for contributions in place of gifts

Coaches

• Coachathon: For a set period of time, offer the opportunity for clients/individuals to book a coaching session with you at a “pay as you feel” rate, where all payments go towards the Yes Futures Big Give campaign.

• Client donations: Make it an option for your clients to add a donation to any purchases from you/your website.

Every pound raised helps us reach more young people and give them life-changing opportunities.
