Why this matters
Right now, there is no recognised gold standard in youth coaching. The Yes Futures Licensed Coach programme is our response. As a specialist Youth Coaching organisation, we are setting a new benchmark of quality, credibility and consistency for the sector.
For coaches, it means official recognition, training and resources that elevate your practice. For the wider sector, it means a trusted, scalable framework that partners and supporters can have confidence in.

Programme Timeline
Our programme launched for our first cohort in December 2025. Our next is anticipated to happen in December 2026. There are four training modules, which take place across December, January and February.
Completion of these four modules unlocks your Licensed Coach status and full access to Yes Futures materials. Drop-in sessions and community support continue throughout the year.

Who is this for?
Youth coaches, mentors, and professionals who want recognition, training, and ongoing support.
Do I need previous experience?
Some experience with young people is highly recommended. Our modules are designed to strengthen and extend your practice.
When does the training take place?
One session in December, two in January, and one in February. After completing all four, you’ll unlock access to your licence and resources.
What’s included in the cost?
Training modules, official licence, use of the Yes Futures brand, exclusive resources, and year-round community support.
Why is this important?
This matters because coaching is called upon increasingly as a solution and because youth coaching deserves a clear, recognised standard. It needs one that gives young people the very best support and gives partners and funders confidence in the sector.
How much is it?
The cost for an annual licence is £399
How do I get it? Is it open to anyone?
Our information webinars took place on 28th October 2025 and 4th November 2025. All licensees are expected to demonstrate some experience or interest in coaching young people.
