Finding Futures Programme

Positive futures begin with self-belief
Our year-long personal development programme equips selected Year 5 and 6 students with the essential skills needed to succeed inside and outside the classroom, preparing them for a successful transition to secondary school.
Each student receives personalised coaching from a trained Coach, alongside three immersive extracurricular trips, empowering them to believe in themselves.

Hear from teachers and students on the Finding Futures programme

"Teachers have commented how much happier and more confident the children on the programme are. They are all speaking up in class more and taking on more of a leadership role in group work.

We are all really pleased to have joined the programme. Thank you all for your hard work and commitment to providing a brighter future for our pupils."

Miss Malcolm, Lead Teacher, Montem Academy

Why do your students need self-belief?

Before the programme

The Finding Futures programme has a proven impact on students, empowering them to unlock their personal potential.

Each student on our programme faces different challenges, but with the right support can believe in themselves, and create their own positive future.

We typically work with a selected group of students who begin the programme displaying some of the following behaviour:

  • Withdrawn in group situations

  • Hesitant to engage in class

  • Underachieving academically

  • Lacking motivation

  • Unlikely to ask for help when it's needed

  • Likely to give up easily

After the programme

We collect data from students, teachers, parents and the Yes Futures Coaches to paint a complete picture of students' progression. Schools receive a full Impact Report detailing individual student progression.

82% of students feel more prepared for the future

Yes Futures has helped me in countless things; making new friends, building my communication skills and hardly ever giving up. If I had trouble, I could always count on the Coaches. Thank you to all my friends, school and Coaches for helping me get over my fears.

Year 5 Student, Norbury Primary School

84% of students have become more motivated

to achieve at school

I think other schools should get involved with Yes Futures because if people don’t believe in themselves that much, Yes Futures will help them to build more confidence and have resilience.

Year 5 Student, South Rise Primary School

"It has been a really great experience and I feel that many of the children have gained enormously from participating in the Finding Futures programme.

Your staff have been amazing, so supportive and organising everything has been such a weight off my mind."
