Help us double our donations this June!

This June, Yes Futures is taking part in the Big Give Small Charity Week, and we need your help!


We have been selected by Big Give, NCVO and Global’s Make Some Noise to take part in the campaign, giving us an incredible opportunity to double any donations we receive during the campaign period! They will match fund every pound we raise during the challenge up to £5,000!


That means we have the potential to raise £10,000 in a 7 day period on the Big Give platform between midday 23rd June and midday 30th June 2025. 


This will make a huge difference to us supporting 350 young people through our coaching programmes in 2025. In addition to our other fundraising, corporate donations and school sales, this will make a huge difference to us supporting more young people to develop their self-belief and fulfil their potential.


That’s where you come in. As a coach or supporter of Yes Futures’ work we’re asking you to get involved in one or more of the following ways:


  1. Share the campaign with your friends, family and colleagues/clients via email / social media - Click here for access to template emails and social media posts, including images you can use and share. If you are a Yes Futures partner, you can share the campaign with your employees, clients and networks via email or social media. We would be happy to speak directly with your Communications Team. Sharing your experience of volunteering or working with Yes Futures to support disadvantaged young people, will go a long way to inspiring others to donate.


  1. Donate as little as £1 yourself which will be matched, so that your £1 becomes £2. This must be done between midday on 23rd June and midday 30th June 2025 on the our campaign page here for the donation to be doubled. Payments can be made by debit/credit card or BACs transfer. If you can give more £5, £10, £20 or £50 that would be incredible - please give whatever you can.  If you are a Yes Futures partner, ask employees to donate as little as £1 which will be matched!


  1. Or raise funds for us by organising some kind of fundraising activity (see some ideas below). This is where you could help us create the greatest impact by engaging your clients, community or network in making donations directly on the platform or through an event you organise.


Fundraising ideas for coaches

We have an A-Z of fundraising ideas which might inspire you but if you have a coaching business you could also consider some of these ideas:

  • Coachathon - For a set period of time, offer the opportunity for clients/individuals to book a coaching session with you at a “pay as you feel” rate, where all payments go towards the Yes Futures Big Give campaign (you’d either collect the payments and then make a donation via the Big Give platform during the campaign week OR ask clients to make the donation directly during the week).  

  • Coaching Challenge - set yourself a goal of providing X number of coaching sessions within a specific time period, which people sponsor you for.

  • Engage your mailing list - If you have a mailing list of clients and followers why not tell them about your experience of volunteering with Yes Futures and the impact we make, with you our coaches, asking them to make a donation during the campaign week (we can share template emails and social media posts if this is helpful).

  • Give a proportion of your coaching sales during November to Yes Futures, or make it an option for your clients to add a donation to any purchases from you / your website.


Fundraising ideas for employer partners

We have an A-Z of fundraising ideas which might inspire you but some ideas include:

  • Sell / auction some items you own and donate this to our campaign 

  • Participate in a physical challenge and ask for sponsorship e.g. race, triathlon, climb a mountain.

  • Host a bake sale at your place of work, place of workshop, community space or school.

  • Host your favourite event and ask your guests to donate. Add in an auction and other activities to raise more funds on the night.

  • Organise a raffle / quiz night.
