Meet the Yes Futures Team
Yes Futures is a multi-award winning charity, run by experienced qualified teachers. It takes a lot of dedicated people to run our coaching programmes. Together we work towards building a future where all young people are confident, resilient and leading fulfilling lives.
Yes Futures Team
Sarah (she/her) is an 'Outstanding' qualified teacher, with over 16 years' experience in youth engagement. She established Yes Futures in order to have a greater impact on the young people who need it most. She enjoys baking and experiencing new languages and cultures.
Brandon (he/him) passionately believes in helping every young person discover the passions and talents within them. He has spent the last decade leading international volunteering and active citizenship programmes both from a desk in London and on the ground in several countries. A lover of the outdoors, he likes to hike, go on a park run or open water swimming and occasionally jump off something for the fun of it – all the while being the best dad he can be.
Dave (he/him) is a qualified accountant with 20 years’ experience in charities including in the education sector. Dave loves working at Yes Futures and seeing young people discover their passions and talents. Outside of work Dave can be found doing anything hands-on creative, whether crafts, cooking, making music, or even a spot of DIY!
Kat believes every young person has huge potential and should be supported to unleash this. Kat loves creating and nurturing partnerships to enable this to happen with experience working with young people, schools, businesses and grant funders as well as leading social enterprises + charities for social change. Outside of work Kat can be found spending time outdoors with her two young daughters, going for a run or learning to grow things in the garden.
Sharon (she/her) joined the Yes Futures team in 2020 with a background in Programme, Safeguarding and Outdoor adventures. She’s passionate about helping everyone discover their strengths and developing their ‘I CAN do this’ mindset. Sharon is a self-confessed Disnerd (Disney nerd) and escapes on Disney holidays as often as she can. Apart from Disney, she loves nothing more than walking her dog, camping and enjoying live music.
Tracy (she/her) joined the Yes Futures team having volunteered as a leader with Girlguiding for more than 15 years and recently trained as a coach. She is passionate about helping young people to discover their own passions and to help them make their way down their own path – no one else’s. Tracy is a self-confessed Harry Potter and Marvel superfan, enjoys running (only in the cooler months), makes a mean banana loaf and wishes Christmas could be all year round.
Easrom (he/him) joined the Yes Futures team because he is passionate about supporting schools and young people. Due to Easrom's own experiences, he has a strong appreciation of the importance of Yes Futures' mission and has spent time coaching young people from North London. Easrom loves movies, gaming and illustrating. He also loves playing football, squash and running.
Hannah (she/her) joined Yes Futures because she is passionate about supporting young people to facilitate giving them opportunity to excel and thrive in life. Hannah has spent many years working all over the world working with children. She enjoys dancing, baking, sewing, camping and a variety of outdoor activities such as sailing, paddle boarding and hiking.
Alex (she/her) joined the Yes Futures team because she is passionate about supporting young people to recognise and achieve their potential. She has previously managed careers coaching programmes in London and also spent time as an EFL teacher in Spain. Alex is an avid reader, loves history and long walks (preferably with a dog).
I have a passion and drive to ensure positive and healthy growth of young children. The ultimate reward is to see children maximise their potential by enabling them to become the best version of themselves. I have previously worked in Primary School settings as a class teacher and leader in Special Education and Safeguarding. I love spending quality time with my family, sewing and playing the steel pan instrument.
I Joined Yes Futures because I am passionate about helping young people to be happy and positive about their futures. I see the need to develop their resilience and self-esteem in a difficult and challenging world; and I want all young people to believe in themselves. I am a mum of three and love to go camping and play sports. I like to run and keep fit, and I can most often be found kitesurfing or paddleboarding in my free time.
Trustees & Advisors
Andrew is excited about Yes Futures because he believes passionately that all young people should be given the utmost support to identify and then achieve their potential. His background is in educational publishing and services for schools, and when not at work he enjoys hiking and cycle-touring in the UK and abroad, as well as keeping up with the latest movies at the cinema.
Jess is a Trustee of Yes Futures because she is passionate about young people being able to fulfil their potential. Jess's background is in HR, particularly in the education and charity sectors. She enjoys playing netball, dancing and travelling.
Emily is an experienced HR and Operations leader and an ICF credentialed coach. She is a Trustee of Yes Futures as she is passionate about enabling young people to understand and unlock their potential. Outside of work Emily loves spending time with her family, keeping fit and drinking wine with friends!
As an educationalist, Annabel is passionate to identify and support the rising stars from all parts of our communities. The Yes Futures programme does just this and as a trustee, she is excited to bring her in-school experience to support the this even further. Out of work, Annabel loves hiking, camping, outdoor adventures and time with friends and family.
I've been involved in volunteering, youth work and education ever since I was a teenager - quite some time ago! So it's a real thrill for me to be able to support Yes Futures in the next stage of its development, alongside my current work with Schools of Tomorrow. When I'm not doing that, you'll find me on my (electric!) bike or walking by the river, on the yoga mat...or trying to write!
Jo’s background is in youth work and has over 25 years experience, spanning both the public and charity sector, in developing organisations that have young people at the heart of what they do. She is a trustee for Yes Futures as she is passionate and ambitious for young people to achieve their potential. When not at work she enjoys spending time with family, spinning and travelling around France.
